Our Inception

HIKMA Community Development Initiative LTD, was founded in 2020 as A Community Based Organization, registered as A Non-Governmental Organization under section 18(3) of the Companies Act 2012 to Educate, empower, involve and serve inadequately served communities (ISCs) in Uganda in order to address issues of muslim education and gender equality, Economic Empowerment and Poverty alleviation and all human sufferings.

Our Passion

We do this through mobilization of resources for execution of various activities for them. We also do structural development for schools in support of the orphans. The Directors have great passion and zeal to support mankind through spiritual development that is backed up by provision of water sources, construction of mosques, supply of food packs to the needy and education for the orphans..

HICODIV ensures all the beneficiaries of its programs have improved standards of living, farmers shift from elemantary subsistance farming to commercial farming, the children of the farmers have improved quality of education at their disposal and creation of employment opportunities for the youths within Lwabenge.

Our Target Group

The following are our target groups

We extend support as wished by the donors to the following groups.
  • Farmers. We offer a variety of services to the farmers ranging from trainings on best farming methods, procurement and supply of quality fertilizers, sourcing for grants to support the farmers and connecting the farmers to potential customer.
  • Students: We do organise career guidance to schools to offer direction and focus to the students, distribute scholarstic materials , conduct leadership and management skills training to the student leaders and encourage development of talents through scientific debates and research.
  • Women and Girl Child: We organise tailor made programs for the women and girls to make them self reliant and be able to support themselves by acquiring a few items through programs like tailoring, liquid soap making, paper bags, candle wax a,ong others.
